This page contains information on the actresses that portrayed Tenoh Haruka (Sailor Uranus) and
Kaioh Michiru (Sailor Neptune) in the
Sailor Moon live-action
musicals. Images of the First Stage actresses come from scans done by
Cruel Angel's Labyrinth, and images of
the Second and Third Stage actresses come from
SeraMyu Antics.

Kimura Sanae is the first Sailor Uranus and the second longest-running Uranus. She appeared in
almost all of the First Stage musicals (
Sailor Moon S through
Eien Densetsu: The Final
First Stage). Kimura-san was born on April 5, 1974. She is from Kanagawa, and her bloodtype
is A. When she was doing the
Sailor Moon musicals, she was with the company Stardust
Promotions. Another of Kimura-san's roles was Arisugawa Juri from the
Utena musical.
Kimura-san is also my personal favorite Uranus, though Takagi Nao is a very close second.

Sakamoto Kahoru was the first Sailor Neptune, appearing in the
Sailor Moon S: Usagi Ai no
Senshi e no Michi musical. She was born on January 9, 1975, and her bloodtype is A.

Tomida Chikei was the second Sailor Neptune, appearing in the
Sailor Moon S: Super Senshi e
no Michi musical and its kaiteiban. She was born on April 1, 1974, and her bloodtype is O.
The
Super Senshi e no Michi musicals were never released on video, so I have never seen
her perform as Neptune.

Fuji Miyuki was the third Sailor Neptune, appearing in the
Sailor Moon SuperS musicals.
Her date of birth is April 12, 1975, and her bloodtype is O.

Tahara Hiroko was the fourth Sailor Neptune and the second longest-running Neptune. She was Michiru
from
SailorStars through
Eien Densetsu: The Final First Stage. Tahara-san's birthday
is March 13, 1974, and her bloodtype is A. Tahara-san is, without question, my favorite Michiru.
I think she displayed perfectly the beauty, elegance, sophistication, and strength of Michiru. I
wish she could have played the role longer.

Takagi Nao was the second Sailor Uranus and the longest-running Uranus. She appeared in most of the
Second Stage musicals, starting with
Shin Densetsu Kourin until the summer run of
Mugen
Gakuen Mistress Labyrinth. Takagi-san was born on July 10, 1976. Her bloodtype is AB, and she
is from the Aichi prefecture. I like her Haruka very much, as I think she had the confidence of
Haruka down-pat.

Shimada Sara was the fifth Sailor Neptune, having played Michiru from
Shin Densetsu Kourin
through the first
Kaguya Shima Densetsu musical. She was born on April 4, 1976 in Tokyo,
and her bloodtype is A. I wasn't really a big fan of her Neptune, as I found her to be too cute
for the role.

Asami Yuhka was the sixth Sailor Neptune and the longest-running Michiru. She played Michiru from
Kaguya Shima Densetsu Kaiteiban through the summer run of
Mugen Gakuen Mistress Labyrinth.
Asami-san was born on December 6, 1975, she is from Osaka, and her bloodtype is A. I dislike some
things about her performance (she's sort of stiff and passive, tends to look cross-eyed, and doesn't
have a great singing voice), but she's still my second-favorite Michiru. Asami-san returned to the
Sailor Moon musicals as Jaedite in
Starlights Ryuusei Densetsu.

Uchida Asako was the third Sailor Uranus, playing Haruka from
Mugen Gakuen Mistress Labyrinth
Kaiteiban through
Kakyuu-Ouhi Kourin. Uchida-san was born on October 9, 1979, and her
bloodtype is A.

Inami Tomoko was the seventh Sailor Neptune, and she was Michiru from
Mugen Gakuen Mistress
Labyrinth Kaiteiban through
Kakyuu-Ouhi Kourin. She was also Mistress 9 in the
summer run of the
Mugen Gakuen Mistress Labyrinth musical. Inami-san's birthday is July
4, 1979, and her bloodtype is A.

Nakayama Akiko was the fourth and final Sailor Uranus. She played Sailor Starmaker (Taiki Kou) in the
Starlights Ryuusei Densetsu and
Kakyuu-Ouhi Kourin musicals. Nakayama-san was born on
December 2, 1986, and her bloodtype is AB. I thought she was amusing as Taiki, and she was quite good
as Haruka in the
Shin Kaguya Shima Densetsu musicals, portraying Haruka as very confident.

Ooyama Takayo was the eighth and last Sailor Neptune, performing in the
Shin Kaguya Shima Densetsu
musicals. I thought Michiru was a bit out of character in this musical, being more aggressive and a bit
more immature than she is in the anime and manga. Ooyama-san nevertheless did well, though she was a bit
too cute for Michiru.
