Aishiteru by Saun Rated:PG Romance: Haruka and Michiru Disclaimer: Sailor Moon & Company do not belong to me. I just borrowed them for a bit. Michiru tossed and turned on the bed. Her blue eyes had dark circles underneath them. She made a soft keening noise as she tried to relieve the aching pressure in her back. Her body was exhausted and swollen. There was no sleeping position that she hadn't tried. Tears filled her eyes as she again attempted to roll over. The door to the bedroom opened soundlessly. Light filtered into the darkened room and Haruka stepped in. She moved with catlike grace over to where Michiru lay. "I'm not asleep yet." A cool slender hand stroked across her sweaty brow. "You were worn out when you came in here, Love. What's wrong?" "I can't get comfortable." Michiru's voice wavered despite her efforts to keep it level. Haruka recognized it for the distress cry it was. She walked to the panel and turned on the ceiling fan. Cool air poured over Michiru's overheated body. Haruka took something from her closet and disappeared in to the bathroom. When she returned, she was wearing soft cotton pants and a white silk dress shirt. She crawled into the bed beside Michiru. Haruka moved closer to her and slid her leg under Michiru's rounded tummy. She moved closer, and her other leg entwined with Michiru's. She gently eased Michiru's head down on her shoulder. Haruka's arm looped around her lover's waist and she began gently rubbing Michiru's back. Michiru, the mother of her child. Their child. Michiru, soothed by both the fan and feel of Ruka beside her, gave a soft sigh of contentment. Their foreheads touched and the two bodies curved to create a warm nest around Michiru's pregnant belly. The baby also shifted position seeming also to be comforted by the second heartbeat above. Haruka felt the slight movement and smiled into the darkness. She listened as Michiru's breathing regulated and slowed into sleep. "Aishiteru" she whispered to the sleeping form, "Aishiteru, Michiru." Finis I try to give glimpses into the personal lives of the characters. I hope you enjoyed it. Let me know what you think.
