Check out my webpage at http://www.netcom.com/~dataserv ===================================================== It’s just several years after Galaxia, a time of peace I don’t know how long will last. Haruka and I have come to the beach for a short vacation. I chose a bay with a cabin where no one would disturb us. Setsuna is taking care of Hotaru to give us some time by ourselves. It’s late now, I had a wonderful swim earlier on, but it’s taxed my strength. Curled up in the soft, warm blankets of our bed, I’m already half-asleep. I feel her watching me. Feigning sleep, I let her mull over thoughts before she joins me. Sometimes, I wonder how my life would have been if we were not together, but I don’t dwell on those thoughts for long. We’re together and that’s what matters, any other way would not be right. But still, if I had not met Haruka, if I had not been Neptune, where would I be? Most likely playing the violin, living alone, being alone. I would have friends, perhaps, but on a superficial level. No one but Haruka understands me fully. I am a part of her as she is a part of me. Something cold swirls around me, the sea breeze through the windows. I shiver once, then relax, feeling the blankets tuck snugly around my body. My hidden thoughts are interrupted by a soft caress. She whispers something, I don’t hear what. Her hand trails across my face, tracing over my skin. I follow her hand with a small turn of my head. I love her hands. She chuckles at my unintentional action, then brushes aside a lock of hair on my forehead. My eyes open, her beautiful face greets me with a light kiss. A gentle smile curving her features. “Aishiteru,” we whisper together, then laugh softly. I lean my head against her chest, the blankets protecting us from the cold. We stay like this for the rest of the night. I love her. She loves me. Two halves of a whole, the sea and the wind, separated by land, but brought together by their personifications. Tenoh Haruka, Kiaoh Michiru, together for eternity. End.
